Or - should I say - people with tandems. You've seen them, the matching kits... right down to the socks. Today I saw a 60-ish year old couple with matching shirts that were actually pretty cool. The shirts had these words...

I rode one of these around a parking lot in Bloomington on Sunday (it was a nice Cannondale unit) as a stoker during a Craig's list test ride. I was terrified. My wife watched the spectacle from the safety of a park bench. We failed on our first launch but made a lap around the lot on our second attempt.
This would be a great test of a marriage (more so than canoes or wall-paper). I did not buy the thing.
