ArrowHead Stadium

I took in the Packers-Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium on November 4. It was an exciting game that resulted in a 33-22 Packer win. I took my nephew to KCMO, we drove down and stayed in the Westport Area. The weekend went like this:

- Saturday: Checked in, went to the Broadway Cafe and had an espresso. Walked in the direction of The Plaza and was distracted by the Smell of Thai food on Pennsylvania Avenue... so we ate there. After dinner (was great) walked to The Plaza and shopped at The North Face, Sharper Image, Sony Store and other places.

Sunday: Ate at our Hotel (Quarterage), they have a free hot breakfast. Walked to the Marriott Hotel on Main Street to catch the bus to the game. Bus is 80% full of Packer fans. The stadium is great, holds about 80,000 and there were probably 10,000 to 15,000 Packer fans. Went to the game, Packers win what amounted to a thriller. Leads were exchanged a few times. See my Phredly Phlicker site for photos. Went to JP Ott's on the Plaza for a few beers and dinner after the game and had a nice chat with some Chiefs season ticket holders. They said that no one brings in as many fans as the Packers did on that day.
