New Bag

Kay needed something a little bigger than her Chrome Dually for bringing a pair of clothes and shoes to work, so after doing the Hiawatha Bike Shop ride we pedaled around and shopped for a new messenger bag. We checked out Bailey Works, Crumpler, Chrome and she settled on the Patagonia Half Mass bag. Its a nice piece, although all of the bags that we checked out are also fine.

We had a lunch and a bevie at the Bulldog North East, its always great there.

Deer on the Stone Arch Bridge

I need to start carrying a digital camera when I ride. Tonight, at about 5:30, I roll up on a big deer (a doe) standing on the north end of the Stone Arch Bridge. She just stands there as I roll by.

Joe's Market & the X

Some things just go together. Peanut butter and jelly, pizza and beer, an Xtracycle and Trader Joe's Market. Its about 6 miles from our place to the Trader Joe's in St. Louis Park. Here we have $88 worth of food and 6 bottles of wine. Oh - and if you've ever seen the grid lock that is the Trader Joe's parking lot, you'd know cycling there is a bonus.
